Road Resurfacing Works Scheduled for Wheatfield Road and Pastures Way Luton, 29 May 2025

As part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve road infrastructure, Volker Highways, on behalf of Luton Borough Council, will be carrying out essential carriageway resurfacing works on Wheatfield Road and Pastures Way in early June 2025.

Scheduled Work Dates:

• Wheatfield Road (between Woodside Link and Pastures Way)
  📅 Thursday 5 June and Sunday 8 June 2025
  🕗 Between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Pastures Way (between Wheatfield Road and Ravenhill Way)
  📅 From Saturday 7 June 2025, for up to four days
  🕤 Between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM

Important Information for Residents:

• Road Closures: The roads will be closed to all vehicles during the specified times to ensure the safety of workers.
• Parking Restrictions: Residents must not park their vehicles on the affected sections during closure hours. Any vehicles left within the work area will be relocated outside the zone.
• Pedestrian Access: Will be maintained throughout the works.
• Noise: Due to the nature of the resurfacing works, some noise disturbance is expected. The Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
